|Consul General Duan Jielong Met with ACFS NSW|
On 17 August, Consul General Duan Jielong met with members of Australia China Friendship Society NSW branch (ACFS NSW).
Mr. Duan spoke highly of ACFS NSW for its role in promoting friendship between the people of China and Australia, especially in the establishment of diplomatic relationship around 40 years ago. He said that the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney will continue to encourage ACFS NSW in its activities aiming at further boosting the people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
ACFS NSW President Georgina Black recalled the founding of ACFS NSW in the 1950s when most people in Australia knew little of China, and said members of ACFS NSW are as firmly committed to the cause of Australia China friendship as ever.
Deputy Consul General Liu Kan also attended the meeting.
