From July 24, 2006 on, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Sydney will provide same-day rush service for visa applicants.

The emergent visa applications lodged at the counter between 9:00am and 9:30am can be picked up between 11:30am and 12:00pm in the same morning, with an extra fee of $50 payable to the consulate.

Due to technical reasons, the consulate is not able to provide the same day rush service to visa applications lodged after 9:30am.
