Regulations on the use Of OIAC and PIAC during the Beijing Olympic Games

The Games of the XXIX Olympiad and the XIII Paralympic Games will be held in Beijing From 8 August to 17 September 2008. China undertakes that non-Chinese members of the Olympic Family holding Olympic Identity and Accreditation Cards (OIAC) and traveling with valid passports the same as indicated on the back of the cards will be allowed multiple entries into China (including the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions) from 00:01 on 8 July 2008 to 23:59 on 23 September 2008 (Beijing time) without having to apply for separate visas.

Non-Chinese members of the Paralympic Family holding the Paraympic Identity and Accreditation Cards (PIAC) and traveling with valid passports the same as indicated on the back of the cards will be allowed multiple entries into China (including the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administration Regions) from 00:01 on 6 August 2008 to 23:59 on 16 October 2008 (Beijing time) without having to apply for separate visas.

For those who need to be accredited but fail to get OIACs or PIACs on time or have no time to apply for Chinese visa for certain reasons (not including journalists or media employees), they will be issued Immigration Forms for Persons Entering China for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad and the Paralympic Games by the Beijing Organization Committee. The Forms, together with valid passports, will be effective for entry into the mainland of China.
