Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC) will start its operation on 30th of November, 2009. Chinese ordinary visa (including tourism, visiting relatives, business, study, employment, transit, crew, journalism or residence visas) applications should be submitted to the CVASC from 30th of November, 2009. CVASC will also collect visa fees and return processed applications on behalf of the Consulate General. A service fee will be charged and the rate will be published (already notified on the website of the Consulate General on 05/11/2009)

The Consulate General will stop accepting ordinary visa applications by 12:00pm of 4th of December, 2009. Thereafter, the Consulate General may accept such applications only on an online-appointment basis.
Please note that applicants holding Diplomatic, Service or Official passport, or who are qualified to apply for the Chinese Diplomatic, Service, or courtesy visa , or who apply for Hongkong visa/ entry permit, should still submit the application directly to the Chinese Consulate General as usual and don't have to make online appointment. |
